Charlotte Gleason left a professional ballet career at the English National Ballet in London to earn her BFA in Dance Performance from SMU. Upon graduating, she moved to Los Angeles to work in fashion PR, where she became West Coast PR Director at Christian Louboutin and ran the division for several years. Having always possessed a deep interest in storytelling and human connection, Charlotte left her post at Louboutin to pursue a full-time career as a director and screenwriter. She has since written and directed a number of independently-financed short films, including Safe Bet, which was awarded “Best Short Film” at the 2016 LA Indie Film Festival. She has simultaneously been doing freelance production work on several motion pictures, including Suburbicon, recently directed by George Clooney and written by the Coen Brothers. Charlotte is bilingual in Italian and currently resides in Los Angeles, with her passion for living.
